We are excited to present GLIDE at our January Employee Ownership Roundtable.
GLIDE has three companies that work under their unique Employee Ownership model which includes Gripple Canada, Loadhog, and Go Tools. Our speaker, Christopher Joseph, is from Gripple that is a market-leading manufacturing company that produces suspension and bracing solutions for the construction industry.
Employing over 950 people across 18 global locations, it is a 100% employee-owned company, meaning they have a unique approach to business, characterised by investment in people, innovation and sustainable growth. They also use the business as a force for good as a Certified B Corporation™! All of their people own shares in the business. This has been the case since 1994 and was formalised in 2011, with the establishment of GLIDE, an employee-owned company that represents all the shareholder members who work in its partner companies. GLIDE is an acronym of: Growth Led Innovation Driven Employee Company Limited.
GLIDE exists to preserve and develop employee culture; to look after the interests of its members and to generate engagement from everyone in their company.
